Detailed History of the Vampyre Origins
The Vampyres are one of the oldest and most prevalent of creatures in world's history. Among the humans, the first encounter with a vampire has been Bram Stoker's Dracula. He is said to be derived from the Romanian prince Vlad 'the Impaler' Tepes (1431-1476). However, the true origin of our kind is yet unknown. It has been said it started with a blood curse, quite similar to the Lycanthropes.
The first of Vampyres is said to be a human who dabbled in the dark arts, and who caught the eye of the Devil, Lucifer, himself. The human was granted immortality, but in exchange he had to carry his curses. His skin would burn by sunlight, and he was given the speed and strength to become a hunter, whose skills were above all others. Hematophagy, the art of sucking ones blood, was also included in this 'blessing'. Without the blood of the living, a Vampyre cannot survive.
From the first Vampyre, many more were created. Clans were formed and Vampyres spread swiftly, until the Witch-hunts from 1450-1750, which resulted in the deaths of many Vampyres. The Vampyre councils were formed among the clans, to
